Let’s Put On A Show (entering Grades K-3)

Igniting creativity and building confidence, our campers embark on a theatrical journey like no other. From imaginative storytelling and character creation to rehearsing scenes and crafting dazzling costumes, every day is a celebration of budding talents and the pure joy of performance. A final performance is on Friday, June 21st at 2:30 PM, families are invited to join us!

Sports Sampler (entering Grades K-3)

Calling all young athletes to the ultimate Sports Sampler camp, where each day promises a thrilling exploration of various sports and games. From soccer to basketball, flag football to relay races, our campers will experience a dynamic range of activities that foster teamwork, skill development, and, most importantly, a love for staying active. 

Intro to Coding with Lego Spike (entering Grades 2-4)
This 5-day camp outline will provide students with STEAM-focused, hands-on activities to promote 21st-century skills and social and emotional learning, as well as review math, language arts, and science concepts. Each day, students will participate in team-building activities and opportunities for physical activity, as well as receive a team briefing for challenges aligned to standards. Daily challenges will help students develop skills and knowledge to complete the culminating project of solving the problems that arise when designing, testing, and presenting games.

Art Explorers (entering Grades 3-6)

Unleash the inner artist at Art Explorers camp! Tailored for budding creatives in grades 3-6, our camp invites young imaginations to soar through a diverse palette of artistic adventures. From painting and sculpting to mixed media and beyond, Art Explorers guides campers through a daily journey of discovery, experimentation, and self-expression. Join us for a week of vibrant colors, boundless creativity, and the joy of becoming true Art Explorers!

Camp is open on July 4th; no extended day.

Lego Engineering (entering Grades 3-5)
Ready to explore engineering with Legos? Lego Olympics is a STEAM-focused camp with hands-on activities to promote 21st-century skills and design engineering. Each day, campers will participate in team-building activities, engage in opportunities for physical activity, and receive a daily team briefing for daily challenges. These challenges will help students develop skills and knowledge to complete the culminating project of designing a new Lego Olympic event using the engineering techniques explored during the week.

Adventures Abound (entering Grades 4-8)

Embark on a thrilling journey of courage and camaraderie at Adventures Abound camp, tailored for campers entering grades 4-8! Brace yourself for heart-pounding excitement as participants navigate low ropes challenges like the Iron Workers Walk, Full House, and the Whale Watch, fostering teamwork and resilience. The adventure continues with mind-bending team challenges and concludes with the ultimate test of bravery – our towering 40-foot climbing tower. Join us for a week of unforgettable challenges, conquering fears, and forging bonds that last a lifetime at Adventures Abound!

Soccer Stars (entering Grades K-3)
Score big at Soccer Stars camp, where young athletes entering Kindergarten through 3rd grade hone their soccer skills and ignite their love for the game! Led by experienced coaches, campers will engage in dynamic drills, fun-filled games, and age-appropriate activities designed to develop fundamental soccer techniques. Join us for a week of dribbling, passing, and goal-scoring excitement as we cultivate the next generation of Soccer Stars!

Basketball Skills (entering Grades 4-8)
Elevate your basketball game at our Basketball Skills camp, exclusively crafted for players entering grades 4-8! Led by skilled coaches, this camp is a slam-dunk opportunity for young athletes to enhance their skills through targeted drills, strategic gameplay, and individualized coaching. Join us for a week of hoops excitement, where players develop their dribbling, shooting, and defensive prowess, setting the stage for a season of success on the court!

Project Inly (entering Grades 4-6)
Has your child ever wanted to learn how to make their own clothes?  This is the camp for them!  Each camper will make a dress or shorts and a top . . . campers will go on a field trip to the fabric store where they will have a budget to purchase the materials they need to bring their outfit to life!  Over the week, campers will learn basic machine sewing techniques, how to choose fabric, how to take measurements, and how to modify a pattern to make it fit.  There will be a Project Inly Runway show on the last day of camp so they can model their creation for family and friends!  

Plush Puppies (entering Grades 2-5)
Upon adopting their very own plush puppy, campers will spend the week creating accessories such as beds, collars, leashes, and more while also enjoying local dog-related field trips (ex: Veterinarians), with some special all-things-dogs visitors throughout the week as well! Your plush puppy will go home at the end of the week very pampered!

Dungeons & Dragons (entering Grades 4-8)
Embark on an extraordinary journey into the realm of Dungeons and Dragons with our unique specialty offering! Led by our beloved Director of Inly Adventure, Cody, campers will immerse themselves in the art of crafting character sheets and developing captivating campaign narratives. This experience goes beyond the game, offering an inspiring model of creative, cooperative, and strategic play that will leave campers with unforgettable memories and a newfound passion for storytelling in the magical world of Dungeons and Dragons!

Scituate Tidal Ecology (entering Grades 3-6)
For generations, children have enjoyed exploring tide pools and discovering the fascinating plants and animals that live in this realm between the tides. Campers will learn to observe like a scientist and dive into the watery world of crabs, snails, clams, barnacles, sea stars, and more! Each day we will visit a Scituate beach to explore amazing saltwater creatures and plants up close at low tide. Back in the classroom, we will learn about the biology of tidal animals and plants, dissect starfish and clams, examine plankton under a microscope, and conduct experiments to learn about beaches and seawater.
 

New England Fishing Academy (entering Grades 3-8; must know how to swim)

New England Fishing Academy provides young people between the ages of 8 and 13 with the opportunity to gain a greater love and appreciation for the outdoors through a unique and hands-on fishing experience.

Embark on a thrilling adventure at “Amazing Race” geography camp, designed for intrepid explorers entering 3rd to 6th grade! Inspired by the hit TV show, campers will traverse the world through a series of exhilarating challenges and mind-bending puzzles. Each day unlocks a new destination, testing their geographical knowledge and teamwork as they race to solve clues and unlock the path to the next adventure. 

Wearable Art (entering Grades 3-5)
Join Inly’s LE2 Teacher, Emily Doherty, as we create one-of-a-kind art pieces that can be worn with flair such as sneaker charms, beach bags, capes, headbands, crowns, flip flops, and more! Everyone will ask, “Where did you get that beach bag?!”

Little Picassos (entering Grades 1-4)
This camp offers a vibrant and nurturing environment where budding Picassos can explore a variety of artistic mediums and techniques. From colorful paintings to imaginative crafts, campers will embark on a week-long journey of self-expression and artistic discovery. 

World Peace Games (entering Grades 4-7)
Inly is excited to be a teacher training site for the summer of 2024. Leaders from the World Peace Games headquarters will be on campus to lead this HALF-DAY camp, engaging in daily gameplay. We may even have a visit from game creator, John Hunter!

**This camp week is half-day for World Peace Game. You can select to be a full-day camper at registration. Full-day campers will join Upper Campers in Inly Day Camp at lunch and engage in afternoon camp electives until dismissal at 3:30 each day.**

The World Peace Game is a hands-on political simulation that allows players to explore the connectedness of the global community through the lens of the economic, social, and environmental crises and the imminent threat of war. The goal of the game is to extricate each country from dangerous circumstances and achieve global prosperity with the least amount of military intervention. As “nation teams,” students will gain a greater understanding of the critical impact of information and how it is used.

As their teams venture further into this interactive social setting laced with highly charged philosophical issues, the skills needed to identify ambiguity and bias in the information they receive will be enhanced and more specifically they will rapidly perceive that reactive behavior not only provokes antagonism, it can leave them alone and isolated in the face of powerful enemies. Beliefs and values will evolve or completely unravel as they begin to experience the positive impact and windows of opportunity that emerge through effective collaboration and refined communication.

In essence, as meaning is constructed out of chaos and new creative solutions are proposed, World Peace Game players will learn to live and work comfortably at the frontiers of the unknown.
