Tuition & Affording Inly

When you choose to enroll at Inly, you’re making a valuable investment in your child’s future.

Affording Inly

We recognize that choosing an independent school education for your child is a big commitment and would like to ensure that any student offered admission has a realistic chance to enroll, regardless of a family’s ability to pay the full cost of tuition. As a school that values diversity, equity, inclusion and justice, Inly prioritizes making its programs available for as many qualified applicants as possible each year. We offer generous tuition assistance for students in grades K–8 in addition to merit scholarship opportunities.

    The Montessori Experience Fund

The Montessori Experience Fund offers six $2,500 grants for incoming elementary students in grades 1–6 who have previously attended an accredited Montessori school and would like to experience Inly’s unique Montessori+ program. This merit-based award is open to all qualified applicants regardless of financial need.

Each grant will result in a direct tuition reduction for one academic year and be renewed annually for a total of three years. Renewal is contingent upon the student maintaining good academic standing and demonstrating a positive contribution to the school.

Families interested in taking advantage of The Montessori Experience Award should express interest to the Admissions Office during the admission process.

How does tuition assistance work at Inly?

    • Tuition assistance is available beginning in Kindergarten.
    • New families should complete admissions and tuition assistance applications concurrently. If caregivers are living in separate households, both must submit applications.
    • If your family qualifies for and accepts tuition assistance, it will be “locked in” for three school years. You will not have to submit an application each year.
    • To ensure objectivity, tuition assistance applications are processed by a qualified third-party business, FACTS.
    • As tuition assistance funds are limited, applicants who cannot be granted assistance are placed in a wait pool. From here, they will be granted awards by the Tuition Assistance Committee as funds become available.
    • If you need additional financial assistance, please investigate loan programs offered by “Your Tuition Solution” at www.your tuition solution.com. You may also download the Tuition Solution Brochure.

    Applying for Tuition Assistance

The deadline for current Inly families to submit tuition assistance applications is January 2, 2025, with all supporting documents for the 2025-2026 school year submitted by January 17, 2025.

For new families, tuition assistance applications and supporting documents are due by January 31, 2025.

As of Dec 1, 2023, all tuition assistance requests will be processed through FACTS Grant and Aid. To apply online, simply create an account on the FACTS application site.

    Tuition Assistance FAQs

Tuition assistance is offered depending on financial circumstances and the FACTS Tuition Management estimated family contribution. The family contribution is based on family size, total income, savings, investments, and assets such as home equity, indebtedness, and any unusual expenses.

Tuition assistance is granted based on applicants’ needs, the number of applicants, and depending on total tuition assistance funds available. Priority is given to existing families and then to new families.

The Tuition Assistance Committee is unauthorized to share any information about applications for and awards of tuition assistance with parties outside of the Committee. Additionally, all financial and tuition assistance information is kept in our financial software system, requiring special permissions for viewership limited to the Business Office.

The committee includes the Head of School, Director of Admission, Director of Finance and Operations and Bursar.
