Preschool Enrichment

Discovery Program

What's the Discovery Program?
It's a preschool extended-day program for learning, play and exploration! After the regular 11:30 a.m. preschool dismissal time, 3-year-olds and 4-year-olds may stay on to enjoy a variety of afternoon enrichment activities in a nurturing setting.

Creative enrichment classes include Spanish, Mandarin Chinese, gymnastics, music, science, art and yoga. New classes may be added or substituted each year. This is an ideal way for morning preschool children to learn, play, explore and enjoy an extended day with minimal transitions.

Lunch Bunch

What is Lunch Bunch?
It's a fun and relaxing way to extend the day with friends and teachers in the classroom. Children bring their own lunches and placemats and enjoy eating together in a small-group setting.

This is also a good opportunity to practice Montessori grace and courtesy lessons, and to reinforce the Practical Skills curriculum. Toddlers and preschoolers love sweeping, wiping down tables, and even washing dishes!
