The Inly Summer Reading List includes required books plus book recommendations for students entering Toddler House through Middle School. The books are listed according to Inly's reading continuum levels.

Summer Academic Work

Student will receive level-wide assignments from their teachers in June. Useful reference information, plus PDFS of assignments (in case you lose them!) can be found on the portal below.

Why does Inly assign academic work over the summer?

As educators, we know that the continued practice with reading, writing, and math during the summer yields significant and important returns. As a Montessori school, we also believe in the importance of balance.

We suggest a little reading, writing and arithmetic; lots of exploration in your home, community and world; plus, surf and sand, games and puzzles. Read about our philosophy on summer work here.
