Student Support
A team of specialists is on staff to assist in the education of each child.
A reading specialist, a psychologist, and an occupational therapist are here to support the students, teachers, and parents. Either parents or faculty may initiate the use of these professionals. Classroom observations will be made, then faculty and parents will confer to decide on a procedure that will best meet the individual student’s challenges.
Sometimes, when appropriate, accommodations are made by the teachers in the classroom, so as not to disrupt the child’s work cycle. Regular meetings are then set up to review the student’s progress and to determine if services need to be revised or discontinued.
Inly can also accommodate some Individual Education Plans (IEPs) with special permission from the Head of School. If you would like more information on IEPs please contact our Director of Learning Services at 781-545-5544 x137.
