Prior to joining Inly full-time as a co-teacher in Lower Elementary Two, Ellyn had been a familiar face in the school as a substitute teacher and after-school instructor. Ellyn worked at Mass Audubon for 23 years as the Education Coordinator Teacher/Naturalist. She began her Montessori career in 2008 at the Bridgeview Montessori School in Sagamore, MA and completed her Montessori training at Sea Coast Center for Learning in New Hampshire. Ellyn is thrilled to be a part of the Inly community. As she puts it, "I knew that I was in the right place when Donna encouraged us to spend more time exploring the natural world with children."

Prior to joining Inly in 2007, Mark worked as a lower elementary teacher at Cambridge Montessori School in Cambridge, MA and then as a middle school teacher at Community Montessori School in Tampa, FL. He began his teaching career at Montessori Community School in Durham, NC, where he worked as an elementary assistant and physical education instructor. Mark holds a B.A. in Japanese studies from Earlham College. He received his lower elementary certification in 2003 from Montessori Education Center of the Rockies (MECR) in Boulder, CO; his adolescent certification in 2006 from North American Montessori Teachers Association (NAMTA) in Cleveland, OH; and is currently acquiring his upper elementary certification (to be complete July of 2008) from Seacoast Center for Education in Exeter, NH.

Alexa attended Antioch College in Ohio and then graduated from the University of Massachusetts in Amherst with a B.S. in journalism and a minor in elementary education. She received her AMS 6-9 certification from the Center for Montessori Teacher Education in New York City. She says it has been an incredible experience to see how much our little school has grown since she was a student here and she is excited to be a part of the school’s future.

Elsa earned her B.A. in early childhood and elementary education from Boston College. She completed her Montessori 3–6 training at the Washington Montessori Institute in Washington, D.C. In 2009, she finished her Elementary training with the North American Montessori Training Program. She began teaching in the toddler program at Inly when it was The Montessori Community School. After staying home to raise four children for a number of years, she returned to Inly in 2000 to pursue her love for teaching.

Margie is a graduate of the St. Nicholas Montessori College in Dublin, Ireland. She taught in Ireland before coming to the United States and most recently taught in the elementary program at Montessori Educare in Newton.

Pat Thompson has a B.A. from Stetson University in Elementary Education. She completed her Elementary training for both LE and UE levels from The Center for Montessori Teacher Education/NY (AMS) and her Children’s House training from Montessori Training Center of St. Louis (AMI). Pat was one of the charter elementary teacher trainers at Seacoast Center, then located at TMCS. She is a former assistant head and head of school at Thacher Montessori School in Milton. Pat comes to Inly from Bay Farm Montessori Academy in Duxbury where she taught for seven years at both the LE and UE levels. She is very excited to be teaching in LE1 at Inly.
