Inly Family Series

Geocaching: a 21st century scavenger hunt!

Up for a family adventure? Join us for our final Inly Family Series event on Sunday, June 3 at 3:00 p.m. and engage in some geocaching and good outdoor fun.
How does it work? We’ll secretly place caches of various shapes and sizes in clever hiding places around the Inly campus, then give teams coordinates or clues and send them off to hunt. We’ll form small teams of families and friends once you arrive, and provide you with all the details you need.
Please RSVP to Nancy at nstjohn@inlyschool.org and let her know if you’ll be bringing your own device (smartphone, iPad or any mobile, wireless device) or would like to use one of Inly School's devices.
Sunday, May 6: Kids' Dance-a-Palooza
Join us for a festive afternoon as participants dance to the tunes of local kids DJ Rob Peters and watch the creativity of balloon artist Dick Moberg of Fun Faces with a Twist. This will be a fun event for your toddler through tweens and a great way to spend a spring afternoon. Please RSVP by Wednesday, May 2 to familyevents@inlyschool.org with the name of the attending family.
Sunday, April 1: Parade of Cows
Join us for a festive afternoon and paint your very own mini cow sculpture! From 3:00–5:00 pm on Sunday, April 1, Inly will be creating a parade of cows to showcase the talents of our budding artists. Pre-registration is required.
Please RSVP by Wednesday, March 28 to familyevents@inlyschool.org with the name of the attending family and the number of cows you would like to purchase for $10 each. All painting materials will be provided. You may purchase a single cow per family or per child. The size will be approximately 4” high by 5” long.
We hope to see you there!

Kids' concert with Bill Harley, Grammy Award winning songwriter and storyteller
10/6/2011
Join us for a fantastic performance by Bill Harley, a two-time Grammy award-winning artist and recipient of a Lifetime Achievement Award from the Rhode Island Council for the Humanities. Bill uses song and story to paint a vibrant and hilarious picture of growing up, schooling, and family life. His work spans the generation gap, reminds us of our common humanity, and challenges us to be our very best selves.
A prolific author and recording artist, Bill is also a regular commentator for NPR's "All Things Considered" and featured on PBS. He joined the National Storytelling Network's Circle of Excellence in 2001 and tours nationwide as an author, performing artist and keynote speaker.
"Harley's audiences are families but it's hard to tell who enjoys him more—parents or children."
