Donna has been the visionary force of the School since 1996 as it has grown from a student population of 160 to 250; expanded the Toddler Program; added classrooms to our Children's House and Elementary programs; increased fundraising; received dual accreditation from AISNE and AMS; increased professional development opportunities for faculty and staff; and built the Meehan Family Artsbarn.

In addition to her service to Inly, Donna teaches facilitation and the integration of creativity, leadership, and team building to educators and business professionals worldwide. Donna is an adjunct faculty member at Lesley University in the national and international M.Ed. program for creative arts in learning. She also serves as an adjunct faculty member at Suffolk University, where she facilitates seminars in creativity and creative problem solving. In addition, she designed and directs Camp Summer Stars, a performing arts program for inner city youth.

Donna was the director of fine and performing arts at Thayer Academy from 1988 to 1996, director of the arts department at Derby Academy, and a music teacher in the East Bridgewater public schools. She was also a master teacher in music and movement at Bridgewater State College from 1973 to 1992.

Julie became Assistant Head of School and Curriculum Director in 2011 after serving as Director of Inly Middle School for nine years. She came to Inly with a background in third world development and education. Julie earned her bachelor's degree in English and education from Boston College and master's degree in development economics from The Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy at Tufts. She spent 15 years consulting in the field of international development before returning to the field of education. Before coming to Inly in 2002, Julie was the co-chair of program development for the Scituate Education Alliance and was active in the field of gifted education. During her term as Director of the Inly Middle School, Julie also earned her Montessori Secondary Certification and completed a master's degree in education at Xavier University.

Debbie has worked in the administration at Inly since 1987 and holds the key to our history. She is the one who knows (and actually remembers) the many fine details about our school. Her daughter, Victoria, was in our Middle School's first graduating class in 1995. Debbie attended Northeastern University and prior to coming to Inly, worked in the retail industry in a variety of management positions including both operations and merchandising. She is currently a board member for the Perennial Gardeners of the South Shore.

Liz signed on with Inly in 2001 as Director of Communications with more than 14 years experience in the editorial and design fields. After 10 years in that role, she moved to join the Admissions Office. She holds a B.A. in English with a minor in professional writing from Framingham State College and she attended the certificate program in graphic design at Massachusetts College of Art. She has worked for design studios, publishers, Boston University, the Connecticut Academy of Arts and Sciences, and as a freelance book designer. Liz completed the Montessori 3-6 overview training with Northeast Montessori Institute.

Julaine McInnis is the business and facilities manager. She holds a B.S. in accounting, magna cum laude, from Northeastern University and brings more than 25 years of experience in education, both in private higher education and independent schools. Julaine was most recently the chief financial officer at Walnut Hill School, and has also worked at Northeastern University and Milton Academy in the business offices. In addition, she witnessed the benefits of Montessori's core values for her own son, who spent six years at the Thacher Montessori School when he was a child. Her professional affiliations include: Massachusetts Association of Non-Profit Schools & Colleges (President), and National Arts Learning Collaborative (Treasurer of the Board of Trustees).

Whitney was formerly an Associate Director at Harvard Law School and previously the Director of Advancement at The New England College of Optometry. She spent 5 years in Washington, DC directing programs with the National Young Leaders Conference and National Youth Leadership Forum and taught high school history and social studies. She is a former board member of CASE (Council for the Advancement and Support of Education) District I  and recipient of the 2008 Rising Star Award. Whitney has her bachelor’s degree from Saint Michael’s College and her master's degree from Harvard University.

Marie brings 20 years of fundraising experience in education, the arts, and health care organizations to her role at Inly. Most recently, she was director of annual giving at Dana Hall School in Wellesley. Prior posts include campaign manager at Caritas Norwood Hospital; assistant director of development at the DeCordova Museum; development officer at Newton-Wellesley Hospital; development officer for corporate and foundation giving at the New England Conservatory of Music; and development coordinator at the Massachusetts Easter Seal Society. Marie holds a B.A. in political science, with a minor in legal studies, from Regis College in Weston, MA.

Cait Simmons joined Inly School in 2012 as the Director of Marketing & Communications. Formerly the Director of Marketing at Stellar Restaurant Group (dba Boloco), she has a diverse marketing background and has presented at Emerson College, the Massachusetts Restaurant Association, Leadership Upper Valley, and on Fox News. She has a passion for Montessori education that was inspired by her own experiences as a child. Cait holds a B.A. from Smith College in English Language & Literature and is a proud Inly School alum.
