Ancient, yet Civilized
It dawned a beautiful fall day for the "ancient civilizations" arts festival this past weekend. We had more than 500 visitors on campus to enjoy the many components of the event -- from artisan market to art tent, from elaborate face painting to performances and workshops.

Donna on Life After Inly
Recently, I have been conducting mock interviews with our eighth graders to prepare them for their secondary school interviews. I feel like I have gotten an early glimpse of their June graduation speeches!

All Raked Up
We had a marvelous turn-out for family work day this week and the crew was very productive. Piles and piles of leaves were raked and bagged, and many flowers will grace the campus next spring thanks to the efforts of bulb planters yesterday!

Halloween Primer
Parents new to Inly: I don't know if you've heard yet, but Halloween around here is a rather festive, all-school affair. Students (and faculty) come to school that day in costume and participate in a parade around the upper field.

A Thunderous Visit
A big plastic tub filled with ice cubes, an empty 2-litre bottle, and a balloon were the tools that parent Nigel Atkins recently used to make thunder for his son's EL-1C class.
