In true Montessori style, we encourage handmade, non-commercial costumes. We ask that parents be involved in preparing their child's costume so that unnecessary "editing" does not need to happen at school. Remember that there are very young students who participate with us, and we do not want to upset them. There are to be no scary, full-face masks or excessive gore.
Parents are welcome to attend the parade on October 31, at 10:30 a.m., on the upper field. (If the ghouls are feeling giddy, you may catch a rousing performance of
Skeleton Bones.)
Toddlers do not not participate in the parade, but may come to school in costume.
