How to Apply for Financial Aid

Guidelines:

• To ensure objectivity, Inly School uses Tuition Aid Data Service (TADS) to evaluate applications. Using their assessment and the other materials submitted, the Financial Aid Committee determines how much assistance can be offered to a family based on the School’s overall budget. Awards are made to students in good standing based upon the family’s financial need.
   
• Families are encouraged to apply for financial aid after November 1st, but should submit their completed application to TADS no later than December 20, 2012 for returning families and February 11, 2013 for new families.
   
• New students’ families should complete admissions and financial aid applications concurrently; financial aid applications are considered only after a new student has been accepted.
   
• After returning families’ applications are considered, new families’ applications are reviewed.
   
• All families receiving aid must re-apply each year.
   
• In separated or divorced families, both parents or guardians must submit applications.

Step 1 -

SUBMIT APPLICATION:
Returning and new families must submit the online financial aid application to Tuition Aid Data Services (TADS).

To apply online go to www.tads.com or click below to begin your application and create a new account:

You only need to complete one application, even if you have several children to Inly. You will set a user name and password so that you may save information and return to it at a later date before submitting it. From there select Massachusetts, Scituate, and then Inly School. You can associate your application to other schools at the end of the online application. Step 2 -

MAIL, FAX OR UPLOAD SUPPORTING DOCUMENTS TO TADS NO LATER THAN FEBRUARY 11, 2013, DO NOT E-MAIL SUPPORTING DOCUMENTATION.

Returning and new families must submit the following documents directly TADS by the deadline February 11, 2013:

• A copy of both parents' or guardians' 2011 1040 federal tax return with all schedules and W2’s.
• A copy of both parents' or guardians' 2012 1040 federal tax return with all schedules and W2’s.
• If either parent or guardian is self-employed, a copy of the 2011 and 2012 corporate tax return

Application Deadline: Families may submit the financial aid applications and supporting documents starting November 1, 2012. The deadline for submitting the application and supporting materials to TADS is February 11, 2013.
