Montessori at Inly
Innovative, Integrated, Interdisciplinary
What does it
mean to be an "innovative Montessori school"?
At Inly, it means we combine Montessori methods with other proven practices to develop 21st century skills, core knowledge—and the richest learning experience possible.
A Montessori education is designed to adapt to and fit a student's needs, interests, and development while still teaching core academic subjects and fundamental skills.
Inly brings this to life by constantly developing new curriculum, learning materials, and experiences for its students—like the interdisciplinary cultural festival featured to the right.
The Inly "Destination Exploration" cultural festival was the interdisciplinary intersection of core academic subjects, the arts and imagination. In this experiential school-wide Cultural Studies project, students worked in groups to research, collaborate, brainstorm and solve problems involving the creation of global shelters, villages and cities.
Through annual cultural festivals and everyday projects, Inly's innovative curriculum strengthens critical thinking, problem-solving, collaboration, communication and global awareness—essential skills for the 21st century.
